This is different.
After collecting consoles, tapes, carts we are moving up a league.
Big MDF and plywood boxes with a small delicate PCB inside, dangerous electronics, rusty power supplies, unknown splices and multiple owners.
Once an arcade game had served its time as a coin gobbling money maker-it was either scrapped/stored or in the few lucky examples taken into someones home and loved.
If you have one out of storage(most seem to be stored in damp areas, like under waterfalls etc),you will learn to love bodyfiller, wood glue, spray paint.
Chewed edges, T-Moulding,bad traces will become part of your day-to-day conversation.
Welcome to arcade restoration.
So im going to put up some before, during and after pics..
